That man should be hanged in a public square. I fully support the reintroduction of capital offences. Pple seeing other pple getting away with murders and other crime and this is what causing this NONSENSE.
I also want to deal with the proliferation of Guyanese immigrants in the Aranguez area. I am calling on the Immigration Department to come to the Aranguez area and weed them out!
This is not the only child to be killed by ignorant persons in this country - I think of Sean Luke, Amy Anamantudo (spelt incorrectly) and so many countless others. We need to be our brothers keepers. We need to step in when we see pple destroying others lives... The govt and authorities cannot do it alone...
Well that is another story in itself,,,but the reality is should pictures and programs be censored because of these kinds of display on the media. Should we take age into consideration when it comes to censorship,,,or should media just have to freedom to post 'all willy nilly.'
Personally, I see no problem in airing this type of picture in the media. Ethically, I believe it's up to the media house to determine what they show/don't show.
I believe if the story itself will show the public the craziness that is going on then these type of photos should be shown on a public forum...but this was shown by a sensationalist tv presenter...so where do you draw the line?
@ Cindy, my point exactly do we draw the line as media or do we allow ourselves to publish anything...Let's take in consideration we had laws relating to Media censorship, that these kind of photos should not be shown publicly, would you allow your kids to see these images. So it's a complicated yet ethical (@ Anonymous) decision for media to make.
I see no problem in the airing of such clips, photos, etc, however your audience should be considered. Warning should be given before hand, by doing so you auddience can now make the informed choice of whether or not they should view such material. [Candace]
When you say you 'have no problem with airing such clips,' then mention 'your audience should be considered' I'm a bit inquisitive as how would one know whether or not they should view the particular photo/program? I guess it would be a personal choice @ Candace.
